- Demonstration of outstanding qualities of leadership
- Demonstration of outstanding management
- Maintain a substantial record of service to the Association and the game of golf
- Well regarded as a role model for other PGA of Canada Executive Professionals
Executive Professional of the Year Award Criteria
- Overall performance as an Executive Professional
- Service to the Zone and the Association
- Leadership ability
- Image and ability to inspire fellow Executive Professionals
- Promotion and growth of the game of golf
Executive Professional of the Year Eligibility
- Eligible Class 'A' Membership Categories: General Manager, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operation Officer, Director of Golf**, Manager of Golfer Operations**, Pro-Manager**, and Director of Operations**.
- ** To be eligible for the Executive Professional of the Year Award, one must be responsible and oversee the entire operations including areas like Food & Beverage, Course Maintenance, and Administration in addition to Golf Operations
- Apprentice Professionals will not be eligible.
Please note, nominations should consider the candidate's overall experience and dedication, with a particular focus on their contributions and accomplishments over the past year.
Professionals will be informed once the 2024 Award application process opens for nominations.
